Biography

William Poulos, BCom (Honours), LL.B has practiced Litigation for over 21 years. He has appeared as Litigation Counsel in the Superior Court of Justice and has also been Counsel in cases before the Appellate Courts. He has appeared in Litigation Cases reported in the Ontario Reports, the Canadian Bankruptcy Reports, the Real Property Reports, the Ontario Appeal Cases, the Business Law Reports, the Construction Law Reports, the Personal Property Security Act Cases and Carswell's Practice Cases. He has published legal articles in the Real Property Reports, Carswell's Practice cases and in other publications.

Mr. Poulos was born in Kingston and has lived in Kingston and surrounding area for over 30 years. He attended Rideau Public School, Winston Churchill Public School,Kingston Collegiate Vocational Institute high school and subsequently, Queen's University(Commerce) and the University of Windsor Faculty of Law. Mr. Poulos completed the Bar Admission Course in London and served as an articling student and lawyer at the White, Duncan, Ostner & Linton firm in the Kitchener-Waterloo area for approximately 10 years. He is a member in good standing of  The Law Society of Upper Canada , The Ontario Criminal Lawyers' Association, The Kingston Criminal Defence Lawyers' Association, the Association in Defence of the Wrongly Convicted and The Osgoode Society For Canadian Legal History.
