Biography of William Poulos
William Poulos, B.Com (Honours), LL.B practices Civil, Criminal Litigation and Administrative Law.
Mr. Poulos was born in Kingston and has lived in Kingston and surrounding area for over 35 years. He attended Rideau Public School, Winston Churchill Public School,Kingston Collegiate Vocational Institute ,Queen's University(Commerce) and the University of Windsor Faculty of Law. Mr. Poulos completed the Bar Admission Course in London and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1990. He served as an articling student and lawyer at the White, Duncan, Ostner & Linton firm in the Kitchener-Waterloo area for approximately 10 years. He is a member in good standing of The Law Society of Upper Canada and has practiced law for over 26 years.
Mr. Poulos has published legal articles in the Carswell's Practice Cases, the Real Property Reports and The Criminal Law Quarterly and a further article will be published in The Advocates' Journal in September 2016.
In addition to sharing legal information via Legal articles, Mr. Poulos has served as a Mentor and Assessor in Ryerson University's Law Practice Program and will continue to do so in the 2016/17 program term.
